Is it just me, or am I ridiculously busy at the moment? Between my latest novel, A Noble Deception, being published by Boroughs Publishing Group, the followup, A Noble Treason, in progress and under consideration, the Indie Author Feature which I’m spearheading, my work as a book reviewer with Coffee Time Romance and More, and my career as a freelance content writer … I swear, I may just go mad.
But I’m not mad yet, and so, it is with great excitement that I announce my latest work in progress, The Ghosts of Tullybrae House (by the way, that picture is totally just a place holder; I do not pretend to know anything about cover design, and will be commissioning one sometime in the near future).
Because A Noble Treason is under consideration at the moment, I’m not sure if I’m permitted to share any excerpts. But I can with The Ghosts of Tullybrae House, since it will be released directly on Amazon – or that’s the plan as of now, anyway. Check out my blurb:
Emmie Tunstall is in over her head. Not even thirty, and she’s been hired as curator at Tullybrae House. A three-hundred year old manor in the Scottish Highlands, Tullybrae has more antique and historically significant artefacts than a museum. It will fall to Emmie to inspect, research and catalogue every last one.
Of the work itself, she is more than capable. But what Emmie doesn’t know is that she and Lamb, Tullybrae’s loyal butler, are not the only ones inhabiting the rambling, three-story mansion. She will soon realize that Tullybrae is also home to the ghosts of a little girl, a former countess, and even Lamb’s own mother.
And there is another ghost: an unknown Highlander. Nothing survives of his name, his clan, even his death. Yet he is the one whose presence Emmie senses most strongly, and she becomes determined to solve his mystery. But here, too, she might be in over her head, for in uncovering his story, she may be uncovering the path to her own destiny.
