Two people from different worlds, and a woman on the run. Can love bridge the gap? On this installation of the Indie Author Feature with Coffee Time Romance and More, I’m pleased to welcome Tory Richards, author of Dangerous Surrender.
A Note from Tory
Hi there!
My name is Tory Richards and I’m a grandma who writes smut. I’m also a daughter, mother, aunt, sister, friend, and writer. It’s a good thing I retired from Disney a few years ago because being all of those things, and being good at them, is a full-time job. I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone.
I’ve wanted to be a writer since the age of ten, when I started penning short stories on notebook paper. At thirteen I graduated to a manual typewriter, then around seventeen an electric one. I plugged away for years on that one. Writing was a hobby for me, so it wasn’t until I received my first desk computer that I decided to get serious. My daughter and niece convinced me to submit to a publisher, and the rest, as they say, is history.
I wouldn’t change my life for anything right now. I have my own little corner of the world (a garage apartment in my daughter’s house) my cats, grandchildren, and I can write whenever I want to. It’s still a hobby for me. It’s my passion, and I write for me. Tell me to write, and I wouldn’t write another word.
I really enjoy hearing from readers. A lot of you respond to my monthly newsletters and I can’t thank you enough for your support and friendship over the years. I love sharing my stories with you. Some quick facts: I was on a plane on 9/11, I was a twin, my favorite movie is Last of the Mohicans, I’m a Syfy Junkie, my favorite foods are spaghetti, and any kind of sandwich, I love good coffee and sweet iced tea, I’m an animal lover and I enjoy good storms.
Would you give yourself to a stranger? Gwendolyn Myers never thought about it until she runs into a dangerously sexy Marcus ‘Bowie’ Ford at the Pink Pussy. A run-down hotel at the edge of a small town. She’s on the run, but one taste of the dirty-mouthed biker convinces Gwen that her running days might be over!
QUESTION: Who is your ultimate bad boy? Is he the biker outlaw like Marcus ‘Bowie’ Ford? The unapproachable, distant CEO? Leave a comment and tell us what you think!

Haven’t read any sports heroes yet, will need to remedy that. Hockey, huh? That’s a rough sport. Must make for rough alpha heroes. Thanks for coming by!

I’ve often wondered about that kind of hero, mythic021. There is something appealing about the nerd with glasses and ripped muscles beneath his clothes. Glad you stopped in!
